The Seminar is addressed to beginners and advanced students. The division into groups will depend on the participants and their language level. 

 

On one hand, the language course, organized in small groups, will be supported by the use of authentic texts, namely Litterature-Songs-Films, in order to enhance our language and communication skills. The applied method is based on the task based approach. In this context the students mingle in communicative situations. They try to resume contact to native speakers, either in the classroom or preferably outside, in the real city environment. 

On the other hand, cultural activities complete the language lesson and show the symbiotic connection of language and culture.

 

Program

• Modern greek lessons, daily from 09.00 to 13.00. The lesson will take place in the warm and comfortable environment of a private home in the center of Athens, in the district of Ambelokipi. 

• Cultural activities, afternoons , Duration: about 3 Stunden. (Greek dance, singing and cooking class with common dinner, guided culture tours  in Athens) The exact content will be depending on the cultural agenda of the city. 

 

The detailed program, including instructors, you will receive by registration. If wished, we could support you with the organization of your trip to Athens and the accommodation. We suggest arriving in Athens at least one day before the course starts.

 

Cost for language and cultural classes: 

600 EUR (including public transport, entrance fees and learning material)

Accommodation and travel costs to Athens are not included.
